w6 vs type x

Comparing what I've heard, in my experience, Type X's sound GREAT in sealed boxes, and because of an extremely nice low fs and good xmax among other things have great low end in sealed boxes. With tpye X's, sealed is for SURE the way to go IMO. But I don't think they get all that loud at all. I like W6's more, while in the same size sealed box they won't have quite the low end the type x puts out, they sound smoother to me, and I would even ported. I had a 10W6, sealed, sounded amazing, then ported to 33hz, sound amazing AND got loud as hell what what it is. Then had 2 13w6's, sealed, then ported. W6's ported correctly, IMO best the type X's. Ability for more low end extension(What subs do you know of that give you better low end (30-38hz) sealed then ported tuned</p><p></p><p>Especially with 10's if you really like lows, port 2 10W6's low 30's and have nice lows, louder then 2 Type X's sealed.</p><p></p><p>btw, the ca.com server sucks ***.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif</p></blockquote><p></p>
