while driving the other day, my 4 channel Phoenix gold amp quit working I checked the voltage, and while the power wire is connected to the amp, it reads 1.4 volts...the remote wire reads 12v now when i disconnect the power wire, it reads @ 12V I thought it was the amp, so i threw in another amp that I have, a US acoustics 4085, and hooked up the power, ground and remote....AND GOT THE SAME THING I checked the power wire from the battery, a 4 ga power wire, and it is not compromised in any way. the inline fuse is in good shape too. I even tested the power wire with it connecected and disconnected to the amp. i tested it at the battery, the fuse, and after the fuse, all under the hood, and I got same results. I have a 2003 chevy duramax, running a stock deck and a hi to low converter.... does anyone know what the hell is going on? thanks in advance
