I got a friend whos selling this amp for $100 I'm wondering if its worth it? I haven't heard of this amp before and I've done some searching and haven't really come up with any reviews or anything.

I'm told its a competition amp, associated with rockford fosgate?

If I get it I will be running 2 12" Kenwood w3012 Subs on it, they are 1200 watts a piece 400 rms dual voice coil and 4 ohms.

If anyone has any input on this I would really appreciate it.

NO! Volfenfag amps are straight trash , it probably does around 300 watts seriously , go spend your money elsewhere.

for a little over a 100 bucks get a ap 1500.1d or mb quart dsc 1500.1 and run it at a high impedance, this will give you all the power you want and give you the ability to upgrade later.

kid you need to learn one thing right now, max wattage doesnt mean a damn thing.

its the rms power that you want to look at. you really want to power your subs take my suggestion.

Dont do it. I have a damn near new one sitting in my room, blown the fuck up. Oh and its 1000w little sister blown:rage: save some money and do what phoenix said.

I love my Kendood w3012s they are just so underpowered right now, going all kenwood seems like the way to go at this point.

You shouldnt need more than 500 RMS for a pair of those subs. In fact i could probably tear the spiders to shreds with my old Thunder 801D thats in my unc's truck right now. Only 500 watts and it'll smash any of the mentioned amps except the audiopoop , the audiopoop actually is a slammin amp for the cash.
