Visonik Specs

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find specs for the Visonik subwoofer model V120S4. It's a 12" single 4 ohm woofer. It's their bottom of the line 12" subwoofer. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Also want some realistic specs on their small 2 channel amp, the V117SX.

If anyone knows where I can find realistic specs on these items or how I can measure them myself, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

PS: I am looking for this info because I am trying to build a budget system with a single 10" woofer that would outperform two of these 12" Visonik subs and Visonik amp. Shouldn't be too hard, right?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I cannot find anything about the xmax on the sub. and visonik amps usually do not do rated power.and i agree with the others above.

how much are you paying on your new set up?

Sorry if I wasn't clear...

I currently have two of these 12" visonik subs and that amp.

I want the specs on this setup so I know what I need to beat it with the new system I want to build.

As far as my new system goes. The limiting factor is really space. I don't have much mounting depth, box size with probably be 0.5 to 1.0 cubic feet. I want to run up to 500 watts rms on the substage (preferably lower). Looking at an 8", 10", or 12" subwoofer. Most likely a 10" with the space I have, though. Willing to spend up to $200 or so for the sub. Amp is tbd still and is another issue all on its own.

For the amp, I need a small footprint. Haven't decided if I want a 5 channel or 4 channel + a mono block or a 3 channel or 2 channel + a monoblock. Still trying to figure out what I want to do with speakers. Any help would be great. Thanks!

If your budget allows:

Ative capable HU

Alpine PDX-5

8" or 10" shallow sub

Some decent comps for the front wired for active

KnuKonceptz wiring

Well, if you are dying to get noise and SPL out of the two 12" Visoniks by using them, then you may want to look for separate 4 channel and mono amps.

Okay, I guess I'm still not being clear...

I'm not using the Visoniks any longer.

I'm replacing them with a single sub.

The new box will be 0.5 to 1.0 cubic feet. The new sub will receive around 500 watts rms (probably 300 to 600 watts rms).

New setup must have better sq and higher spl than visonik setup.

Fill in the equation:

2 12" Visonik subs with 1 cubic ft each and 100 watts rms each

Hope that makes it clear...Thanks!

If you're looking for more SPL than 2 12's, you're likely going to have to go with a single SPL oriented 15 or 18.

That's going to be a very tough order to fill with 300 to 600w rms and 0.5 to 1.0 c-ft.

Maybe the new SI BM 12?
