Okay....nobody here seems to like Audiobahn but I can say my 2 12's hit HARD!!!!. I went from 2 12" MA audios to 2 12" Kicker Solo Baric L7's and so far these Audiobahns have the most insane amount of bass I have heard yet. They are 2 12" AWT12X subs. I paid 1000.00 for the pair and they are worth every dollar. These sounded better than my friends Juggernauts. I will include a few pics of the subs. Cant show the actual install but will post when I get a new DigCam.

For people who call themselves knowledgable, you guys sure make a lot of stupid statements. I hate being one of the few to defend audiobahn, but on this board it seems to be my calling. As I've already presented my case on at least a dozen other occasions, i'm not even going to humor you with another installment of the same argument, I'll simply say this: Audiolife, BumpinBlazer and whoever else wants to talk shit about audiobahn, go to termpro and try it. They'll eat you alive. Why? Those are actual knowledgable audiophiles, and this is well known as a newbie board. Your bullshit statements about audiobahn won't stand up with people who know the product, and aren't influienced by your statements.

you say you have about $450, Thats not much but it is possible. I cant think or much with that price. your going to have to do some seriouse looking around. I know you cant really get a nice amp and nice subs, so I sugest that you get some more money. You need atleast three hundred more. unless you are just not that keen on having a descent system. you may find that buy one sub get one free. thats about $130 and then you can go to ebay and try to get a steal on an amp. look into pioneer seris subs at like circiut city, or best buy. I had on impp, and that thing jit like crazy. put it in a ported box. The amp? thinking.....................check these out

thanks for that wise input loneranger but i think i will take my opinion on audiobahn and keep it the way it is. yes they are highly capable SPL woofers, i'd rather have a handful of SPL woofer's over them though. i've stated that many many times before and you still seem to have a stick up your *** about me. honestly it doesn't matter i would never touch an audiobahn subwoofer in my vehicle now if a friend said i don't have a ton of cash to spend but want nothing but pure SPL i would suggest audiobahn and have.

lone most of the guys you think are bad ***** i ALREADY BEAT.. spl wouldnt be that hard its all math. all i want you to do is honestly tell me what you think is good is better than my good and as far as knowledge goes i can belt out facts right along with anyone as it is my living just got a 96 on my first class mecp in 3 months i'll have my masters..i have already went to college for electronics that isnt a problem..worked retail for 11 of the 13 yrs i have been out of school the other 2 i was a rep and distributor of car audio i also competed in iasca sometime ago ..i have over 40 trophies majority 1st from one season and yes i traveled well outside my area to compete tyvm.
quite frankly as an entire line goes for the price audiobahn isnt that bad key point in being is look what i say and try to apply it you can make your own judgement but if you are tryin to say that 500 dollar audiobahn is better than an adire brahma or the re's hell even a l7 i will laugh. EVERY person locally that i know of that has l7's and are not happy run them wrong either to small of a box or worse yet wired out of phase lol. i just did a box for 2 l7 10's and it did a 148.6 on a linear x at a local official db drag...nothing special either except a nice box

Audiolife: I'm glad you're so kick-***.....Trophies and diplomas don't mean shit when you're talking about common sense. Common sense tells me that if i have to spend $400 for a subwoofer for a gain of 1.4 db over my current system, I'd much rather keep my $120.99 sub and just be a decibil and a half quieter. I do compete with my system, and I have won trophies too, but you don't see me on here tooting my own horn.
I'm not saying there aren't better woofers than audiobahn, because there are. I'm simply saying that you shouldn't trash-talk a company simply because you like something else better. You don't see me poking my head in and giving my two cents every time someone mentions JL Audio or Kicker (I personally dislike both brands, but that's a whole different can of worms).
There are a lot of people who will sit around and argue that one woofer is superior to another, but for the most part it's not the truth. I've heard Adaire Shivas (a woofer often compared to the 'bahn 1200Q, and one i often see you bragging on) in a similar application to mine, with similar boxes, and not only do we hit nearly the same (both a constant low 140), but they even sound very similar (so similar in fact, a MECA judge thought it was the same subwoofer). I thought the Shiva had better SQ......

this was on a jl audio 500/1 in a larger car called a bonniville lol funny you say im tooting my horn u dooged me i simply stated what i was .... i have seen SINGLE 10 l7's break 150 in fact over mid 150's so think what ya like do as ya like all i know is we have 1 of the largest audiobahn dealers in the us in my town i have seen countless cars funny thing is they dont dominate..i never seen audiobahn "cheap" exept for the net and on this post this guy paid 500 a woofer now if we go back towards the subject at hand ... tell me how impressive that driver is with its shroud off? simple q

I am just saying that the bad *** ones = top of the line. I want to hear the new jbl subs..........I havent seen any post on those yet. and the orians, I havent seen either.
I have one more question for thoose that keep a eye on new technology:
A while back I saw a magazine, car audio or something. ant there was a clear plex box shaped like a triangle with the top cut off, and they had a new machine, like a compresser that pumped air in and out of the box they said that it was the cleanest bass that could be produced, and that you could put massive amounts of power and get maximum results. I want one of then os if you have any idea about what I am taling about give me a emial ok thanks
