Have any of you gotten emails from an automated email system stating that you have sent the Sobig virus? I got one and it says that I sent the virus to some email address that I don't even know. I'm wondering if the virus spoofed my email address to send a virus. I never had signs of the virus and my antivirus runs on my computer nightly and according to the antivirus system I still have no virus.

Dont worry about it and totally delete any email regarding it.

I see your picture to the right fingering through money. Did you put that pic there to let people know your rich or do you plan on being rich? I'm starting to see that its tough to make it, even for a white guy as crazy as that may seem. I don't know if this is the case across the U.S.. The best way to make it, is illegal activity, whatever that may be. Unfortunately, or fortunately I'll never take part in that. I figure the chances of having what I consider success is slightly more likely than winning the lottery.

It's not tough to make, just work hard in school and the job you choose and you'll make it. Find something you're good at and start a small business...that's what I did and I couldnt' be happier.

I've pretty much completed my general education and out of all that stuff I really didn't notice any special gifts in a particular area of study. I get good grades. I was going to major in business, but now i've been told don't major in business management because there is no demand for it, dont' go into realestate because there's way too many people. So it looks like if I stick with business I will end up majoring in accounting and probably getting a masters along with a cpa license. But I don't know if I would like this field. And you really don't make that much money in it, I believe my teacher was telling me someone that got a masters in accounting was making $50k, but living off that income where I live isn't comfortable, I'd be stuck in an apartment my whole life and who knows what would happen when it is time to retire (no house paid off). I would have to become a CFO or top management to make good money. Then I was thinking of majoring in electrical engineering, and I hear this is a tough program. SOmeone that was in it told me it's not like business, you can't skate through it you really have to understand the stuff and dedicate yourself to studying. I would enjoy learning about electronics and how they work and so on. I would like to understand circuit boards and how to improve existing equipment to cut resistance and build better products. The one struggle that I'm having is that I have wasted quite a few classes in the business area and it would take me probably around 2 more years at a community college to transfer because of this. Another problem is that I applied for hayward state which costs $55 and they do not offer electrical engineering degrees. SF state does but it's a very crowded school it's hard to get classes and parking. I believe San Jose State offers it, but the commute would be a ways and I don't know if that would work with where I'm working. Electrical engineering sounds really cool. I know these guys get good pay, but then I was hearing that companies only want people that graduate for top Electrical Engineering schools, which would require me to move along with there's no way I could afford it. I just wonder if a Masters is required to get a good paying job in the electrical engineering field. One thing I do notice in the business world, is there are a nice amount of upper management that really don't know much at all they just got there by knowing the right people and from years of dedication to a company. One strength I believe I have is thinking up new inventions. I don't know if there is a field for this or what it is called, but I'm good at it. I actually have some ideas that I haven't seen that I think could sell.

Okay guys I now have a new problem. I'm getting back emails that say my sent email failed, but I didn't send these emails. I think my email address is being spoofed to send viruses to random people. Do any of you know how to stop this without changing your email address? I just sent an email to hotmail. I'm pretty sure someone is using my email address to spread viruses.

mine does it too, don't worry about it, just delete them.
Okay. I'll do that.

Hotmail sent back a message that was full of crap saying the person isn't spoofing my email address, but rather I have the virus on my computer. That's not true I have anti-virus run every night at 11:00 pm. No virus has been found. And I know that my email address is being spoofed whether by a person or some program a person has created. So they basically sent me useless info on how to get rid of the virus, which I don't have.
