Virus Scanners

Norton actually has one of the better anti-virus' out there. They have pretty much been the main player in this market for some time.

Only downside is that they can get a bit pricey.

AVG Anti-virus is also darn good. The cash aspect for it too is there.

Combine that with regular updates/scans/system maintenance, and a little common sense and you are set.

 
Norton SystemWorks with Trend Micro SysClean and Ad-Aware as backup is excellent. Nothing'll get past those babies. I used to have PC-Cillin, but took it off because that stupid pop-up window was irritating as hell.

 
i use something called Fix IT utilities 5 and the virii scan on that is just great and also i dont have to pay for any new updates after so much time at all been using it since version 3 and havent had one single problem yet
