[QUOTE="3.5Max6spd, post: 949254, member: 555373"] AnArchY x57x: I got into an accident awhile ago, before I took my car to the shop I took my subs out, but left my amps in, and when I got my car back, I put my subs back in and tested everything and made sure the settings were correct on the amps. The subs work fine at lower volumes, but past a certain point, the subs cut off and the amps protection light comes on. Wats the problem? I took out my meter and measured the ohm rating on the wiring for the subs and it came out to be around 1ohm, which is correct. But what else can I check? I also noticed that the lights on the amp dim a tad bit. Set-up : 2 12" RE SE's(dual 4 ohm), Viper D1200 amp Anyone know what the problem is?
