VC100s and ID OEMS

Ive have these installed for a week now and they sound great. The only thing is the tweeters cut out sometimes but I know if they didn't I would've blown them by now. When I first installed them I didnt like the tweeters too much, they'd hurt my ears after listening but the sound better now(played pinks noise for a few hours).The mids are awsomely loud they can get much louder the the tweeters can, cant wait to go active. My friends who are running coax and $10 tweeters are amazed by how clear it sounds.

Overall im very happy, I know theres room for improvement but its ok for what it is. mid bass there its just eh, but thats because my doors aren't deadened yet. The amp playing it is a cadence TXA3004 bridged.

I also want to know how does the tweeter protection thing work. If I have it on 6000hz would it play with more power opposed to 3000hz without cuting off

the vc100 are extremly efficient, they don't need a lot of power to get loud. I think you'll be better active. the crossover that come with the vc-100 isn't that great (it should be crossed around 4k under that they're not that great

do the tweeter really get better with time? broken in time for tweeter is a myth right? but i've seen a lot of people saying the vc-100 get better with 20hour playing time.

Mine got like 1 hour then i said , fock it they just don't mix well with my woofers
