the passport 9500ix comes with power cord but not the suction cups witch can also be had on ebay for $7 also guaranteed to work.

both are great units and im sure some one will put them to work more than i did.

how do those directional arrows on the valentine work? and is the display red?

yeah display is red. its pretty cool, say your in the freeway, if it detects something right in front of you the top arrow will illuminate say your passing what ever is detecting right to the side of you theres a vertical line with arrows on both ends right in the middle of the top and bottom arrow that looks like this () that will illuminate as its on your side as your passing it to go behind you, the bottom arrow will illuminate, pretty cool and accurate.

The arrows are a great way of letting you know when you are "done" with a given signal.

On the interstate you sometimes pick up gas station door openers when you go over an over pass. With a regular detector, you get a weak alert, and then nothing. You have to guess if it's a cop a ways up using instant on or just a door opener.

The V1 will let you know. "That was it." "You just passed it".

(Not all the time, but most of the time.)
