did you file a insurance claim with usps and how long does it take and was it a hard process. also did they pay up right away. reason is I bought some speakers of ebay and arrived usps damage and now seller is doing usps claim.

No i never filed a claim, otherwise I'd use that money to get it fixed, I'm taking a huge hit on the sub here.

If you get it setup with RE so that they will know who the sub is for when it comes in etc. Give me something to work from, if they want to give me a repair or order # to include with the sub when it comes in I'm willing to help out there.
