I think it was and is a pathetic suit. I also wonder why WD and others haven't been whacked with the same by now. It isn't as if only Seagate markets there drives in GB rather than GiB.

yeah when I first saw that back in the day, i was like wtf im missing like 4 gigs or somethin..

but it affects everyone so who gives a shit, storage is so cheap if u need 4 more gigs just go buy a 500gb for like $100
