usaci vs db drag

whats the differ i have competed in usaci events but in hawaii they have db drag whats the difference so i can know what to expect

Depending on what classes

Stock and Street are similar in USACI and DB Drag respectively .

The only diff in the 2 is sub numbers and amps, well theres others but thats the basic

In DB Drag they go by how many subs you have to determine class.

In USACI it goes by amp rating

Like Skip said, Drags goes by the size and number of subs where USACi goes by the amp rating, it's the 4 ohm rating of the amp. It's hard to make a system competitive in both formats but it can be done. Db Drags has a lot of rules, where USACi has very few. The rules defining Stock/Street are pretty close. It's all a matter of preference, but I think overall dB Drags is much better than USACi.

Don't forget that db drag meters sealed up on the dash and usaci is outlaw (any doors/windows can be open).

There can be a large difference in scores.

Forgot that one, I drop numbers when running outlaw so I only run sealed, so I forgot about that part. But yeah, you usually get higher numbers.
