"danger"- lol there are plenty more things dangerous, or a threat, to the US than that? We haven't really done anything yet anyway it seems... look at London... Terrorism will never be stopped in my lifetime... just like drug smuggling/dealing, we've been on that for decades too right? IN OUR OWN BORDERS.

Your right we probably will never be able to stop terrorisim. So do we lay back and wait for that bomb. Do we stick our head in the sand and hide. No we fight. We fight for what others have gave there life for. Our freedom.

Of course there are more dangers. Why they started in Iraq and not else where? Who cares. At least they are doing somthing about it.

You don't know why we are in Iraq do you? We are not there do to a dirrect cause of 911. We are STILL looking for osama.
We are in Iraq because of the threat. After 911 the bush administration decieded to go after all enemys of the US. Iraq was a major issue.

We found him because his own people rated him out. Osama's people are very very loyal. And would never rat him out on the location he is in.

which i still dont understand. what happened to our military intelligence, and our satellites and stuff?

which reminds me, i remember when saddam was captured, it was 4 in the morning over here and i woke up early, turned on the tv, and it was live "we got him" it was a great time.

LOL Saddam's country was HARDLY the only country that suppressed his people... there are MANY more still in existence.

I'm sorry you can't openly discuss it and are leaving the thread, that is fine. I enjoyed the discussion.

As I said we are still hunting osama. To think we are not is just well...

I never said Saddam was the "biggest" threat. Just one needed to be dealt with.

A heated topic of WMD. Did bush have bad intellegence? or are we there for other reasons? I don't know. But what I do know there are a lot of people who can sleep better with him out of power. Americans or Iraq's alike.

And yes. I know there are plenty of people pissed off also.

You have to also keep in mind that the people that are fighting over there were not AT ALL forced to go over there. The chose to enlist being fully aware of the possibilities, so people acting like they are being forced to do something that they hate makes no sense... Also, from talking to a man that just came home, we have a much stronger presence searching for Osama than people know. He helped search, but was ordered to wear civilian clothes so our presence would not be so obvious...

I'm not sure... I'm sure Bush knows a lot more than me though.... I'd start with attemting to dismantle a terrorist orginization... NOT freeing an opressed country...

i however agree with you on the military budget. Why should we spend 400 billion dollars on a war, if we cant stop the war and depression in our own nation?
