Then you are not listening. The war on terror is a very long long struggle. It wont be solved in just one-ten years. Bush has said this. He also says we will not stop untill "all" terrorists against the us are dealt with...

As I looked into that, We finally knew where he was, we could have went in and killed everyone and found him. But diplomatic relations with the people harboring him would have been crushed. They would not allow us to go in and get him with out starting another war.
The Iraq war has nothing to do with Ossama(or very very little) It was the next step on the war for terror. We did not go to Iraq to get Osama, it was just the next move we needed to take on terror...

why do you go after someone who had no connections in the 911 attacks? on 911 bush said he would find whoever done this and bring them to justice. almost 4 years later and over 1000 lifes, still no one. we did however find saddamm hiding literally in a hole in the ground even though he had no connections to the attacks, no weapons, and just pissed off more people to where they start bombing london, our only ali.

True. But to understand the meaning is a better option.

Mission acomplished. Meaning we accomplished a mission. Not the entire war. We went in to Iraq overthrew his power and eliminated an enemy of the US. A "danger" to us. So that mission was accomplished.

That in no way implys that the war is over. Or we are even close to being done in iraq or other places.

first off, sorry to her about your family, wish i knew what else to say, but i dont.

second, it doesnt matter who did what or voted for who in the past, nothing we can do about that now. mabye were doing the right thing over here, mabye not. aint for me to figure out, i just follow the orders given. now, on to the point i wanted to make.

regardless of what you think(as far as if we are doing the right thing)keep one thing in mind. its soldiers like his brothers, and like myself that are over here so you dont have to be. when you hear about another bombing claiming the life of U.S. service members remember, we are just like you.

well saddam WAS oppressing millions of people under his iron fist, and a group of people i know went to iraq for construction work, and the iraqi people are rejoiced to have americans in thier country.

Its the news thats taking control of people's minds that theres only violence in iraq, the 4th branch of the govt. (i deticate that to immortal tech)

"danger"- lol there are plenty more things dangerous, or a threat, to the US than that? We haven't really done anything yet anyway it seems... look at London... You don't know why we are in Iraq do you? We are not there do to a dirrect cause of 911. We are STILL looking for osama.

We are in Iraq because of the threat. After 911 the bush administration decieded to go after all enemys of the US. Iraq was a major issue.

We found him because his own people rated him out. Osama's people are very very loyal. And would never rat him out on the location he is in.

LOL Saddam's country was HARDLY the only country that suppressed his people... there are MANY more still in existence.
