Put the drill through the surround? My buddy did that to my sub once, be careful.Do you have a 12v drill?

No I keep gouging the plastic sorround things :furious:and stripping the screws.

Slow down and put some firm elbow behind it.

Also use the proper sized bit.

I ONLY use a screwdriver instead of powered drill. Just hold your hand around the screw and screwdriver, push really hard, and go slow. It's so tempting to go fast, but ruining your investing blows, and sets you back money and more time (to get it replaced).

Is there any way I could sand down the sorrounds to get them back to looking better.
