When I do an install with duel batteries sometimes I try both ways . 1) I run one line 1/0 from alt to front battery then to the back battery. 2nd I try from the alt 1/0 to the front battery then 1/0 from the alt to the back. I have had some better results with # 2 cause it is pulling 2 loads from the alt at once rather then one. It uses the same amount of wire so it dosen't cost to see.
