I know alot of people here encountered the virus on Skar's site. Skar denies it was there. However, I have done some more investigation. It was a rootkit/trojan. It deleted components to windows services such as Windows Update, BITS (Background Intelligence Transfer Service), and Windows Firewall/Windows Defender services and .dll files requires to access those components of Windows OS. The rootkit prevents you from updating windows, running Windows malicious software removal, and disables the firewall for unlimited data transfer without you knowing about it. Im in the process of restoring these items myself. Anyone who encountered the website would be encouraged to do a Windows Update or check to see if Windows Firewall/Windows Defender is still active. To check for Windows Update go to Start, Windows Update. To check for Windows Firewall/Windows Defender go to Start, Control Panel, Windows Defender. If you have an issue here you should see this: For Windows Firewall go to Start, Control Panel, Windows Firewall. If you have an issue here you will see this:
