yeah, thats the problem with the massive influx of "musicians" these days. After my stint at Ultimate Electronics, i spent about 2 years at a Guitar Center selling pro audio as well and man, anyone with $200 can get a m-audio preamp audio capture device for external sounds, or just get a MIDI controller and download tens of thousands of samples and make their own stuff. Then all they need is a following of some people to get them a bit of notoriety and then it makes its way to the unsuspecting millions after it gets a tad viral. There is tons of good and bad that comes from that, a good example of the good is K-Drew and his excellent song "Circles". I spotted him on soundcloud and have been very glad that i did!! Klaypex is another indie EDM artist who i hasten to think what it would be like without his tunes in my life. But for every awesome indie artist, we have dozens of fluff or just plain garbage, hence the reason i brought up the ease of which people can make/release music these days. Im thankful for the choices out there, but sifting thru some of the bad stuff gets kinda old sometimes

one of my favorite things about checking out new artists on youtube is that i listen to it on a Denon receiver on B&W mains, a Cambridge Soundworks center and a Definitive Technology powered 10" sub. No rears unfortunately, just dont have a good place to put them :/
