[QUOTE="nickpapa, post: 5844380, member: 585936"] so im getting a lot of engine noise for some reason. the strange thing is, it only happens when my the second set of rca's is connected to my amp. im running a 3-way setup with 1 set of rca's for my components and 1 set for my sub. the wierd thing is, if one set of rca's is in, i have absolutely no engine noise. but if the second set is plugged in it gets pretty excessive. it does not matter which rca's are plugged in, either one i remove, removes the engine noise. this is what ive checked so far: - ground to amp (grounded to battery because battery is in trunk) - ground at headunit (regrounded to headunit chassis with no difference) - tested with another amp and get the same exact result my power wire is not run along side the rca's as the battery is in the trunk. although the rca's do run passed the fuse box to the rear of the car. the only thing i havent tried is another set of rca's. any ideas?
