universal antenna

I was wondering if anyone has used or has any info on the universal antennas that can be found on ebay that mount to your windshield such as the one below. I dont need anything exceptional but I dont want to spend 20-35 bucks on something that isnt worth a s---.

That one is expensive, metra makes one just like that only its cheaper and powered. It works well too.
