its obvious that you and most other ppl are ignorant of the real situation in Korea. The 2nd infantry divison has less than 10,000 troops and are stationed strategicly between Seoul and the DMZ. They are affectionately known amongst its members as "the speedbump to Seoul" because of the fact that north korea has the 3rd largest standing army in the world. if 1.5 million plus troops decide to move south, they are going to do so and in the 1st 48 hours, American casualites are gonna make everyone forget all about the little "war" in iraq.

most likely if there was a troop build up for an invasion into the south our satallites would pick it up and we would either reinforce the situation or be prepared for our 10,000 troops to kill 1.5 million n koreans

you DO realize that north Korea is roughly 46,000 sq miles right? to put that in reference Ohio is roughly 42,000 sq miles. which means that i can move my entire military force in a matter of hours. Many of which are already massed near the DMZ. Just for some background on myself, i served in Korea for approx. 30 months at which time i worked in surveillance (long range recon to be exact) so i do know a bit about the situation.
