underglow

ok i just bought a 2001 mazda protege and i was told that it had underglow and i was wondering how its supposed to be hooked up.

its external does it just hook up to the batt or something. please help me

Are they neons or is it an LED kit?

An LED kit probably has a control box that they plug into or something.

Neons just have a + and - wire. You ground the - to the chassis on a bolt or something, and the + wire hook up to a switch. The switch needs a constant (and fused) + wire running to it.
