I just wanted to stop in and say thank you guys very much for the support. The fact that so many people felt my pain with me and dont even know me is ovewhelming. It has really gotten me thru this. I read every post and almost everything is accurate (and what wasnt seemed to be corrected by others).
Yes i did have a good alarm with 2 different starter/ign kills. The kids shoot hoops out front and im tellin ya if the ball rolls into the tire the alarm would go off. I think someone may have shut it off but im not sure. It sure doesnt appear to me that it was on and i have to face that reality that this could have been prevented. I have driveway sensors that beep like a mothaf$%r in my house when somoen gets too close and the 9v batterys on the 2 were dead. I figured id get to it later. I let my guard down plain and simple. If you slip then your slippen'........and i slipped. Please, PLEASE learn from my mistakes.
