eclipse is ok but imo overpriced. they sound semi mechanical when bumpin but less so than w7's. alot of people swear by alot of big throw woofers but most of them sound mechanical. i have yet to hear alot of these in a truely good sq set up. i like the idmax because it can go up that extra octive/octive and a half and not sound like a big arsed woofer. i heard the dls woofers can do that too

So the Eclipse (regardless of the money) would be a good setup in a small sealed box with the amp im using???

On what drivers I thought were excluded?

Plenty of medium-wattage killer SQ drivers, such as the Adire Koda, Adire/CSS SX10, Alumapro Alchemy 10" (if they made this in a 10"...not sure), etc...woofers that kick *** with 500 watts or less.

Hey whats goin' on everybody, I just got home from Chicago...went from -15degrees (including wind chill) to a pleasant 50 here in Marin County, CA.

So I got some stuff done taday being home and all, including take down some dimensions of the "amount of room" I will be able to "play" with for the box. DIMENSIONS: 14 inches deep X 16" tall X 24" wide.

I am still settled on a sealed box so i dont know if with those dimensions i have to play with if that is considered a small box or medium sealed box for (1) 10".

The whole point of this is to decrease the amount of room i am taking up in the back of my p/u truck. Here is what I have now....2 JL10W3v2D4's in a sealed JL ProWedge box. DIMENSIONS: 14" deep X 12_1/2" tall X 32" wide

So I think I am going to have the box that is going to be made for me, use the same design.

Well thanks for the replys and keep the comments comming, i am learning alot by you guys. I am "fairly" new at all of this (if you couldnt tell) but enjoy learning and appreciate the help.

Your looking at those for solely SQ? I believe there are many better choices for pure SQ drivers.
But if your sticking with these then take out the 9500, 3510, sx, and Ti. Im not sure if the Type x is a pure sq woofer, I dont htink it is so take that out also. The Brahma isnt a pure sq driver but it is most likely the best choice along with the TDX (I think thats a SQ woofer isnt it?)

I thought the type x was made for SPL mainly. I could be wrong.

your box demensions still leave for between 2.36 cft to 2.28 cft. thats plenty big for 2 subs.

Thank You everyone for all of the responses, I have decided to go with the ECLIPSE 10" SW9102. I will hopefully be purchasing this within the next month or so.
