i ALMOST signed in, but i got weary and deleted it...however, a few minutes after i deleted it, i got a replica of the email...

Read the stuff on the paypal page about spoof emails.

I think they will always address you by your full name, not "paypal user" or whatever.

Both eBay and PayPal (same company) will never ask for personal info via an email as per the UA and the ToS for both services.

Should there ever be an issue you will be notified when you log onto the respective sites (http://www.eBay.com and http://www.PayPal.com) and attempt to access your account.

It's a phishing expedition and should be deleted post haste and no links within it clicked again.

ebay does them to, it is just a trick to get your passwords so they can have access to your account.

both ebay and paypal, as well as any other "secure" sites such us those, will NEVER give you a link to directly click that involves signing in or anything of that nature.

What I have done is sign in with those on fake names and passwords. Let them try that for a while.
