you dont get the same shyt with the L5....L5s are basicly comp vrs but square.

do you have facts to backup your statement? I do have facts to backupmine....

same motor/same magnent/ the only different is/was w/the previous model was an elevated frame & extended cooling (whole thru the magnent)......

Also, I personally talked to a kicker rep and the rep stated - you can get same performance from the L5 as you can the L7 b/c they are made the same way and have the same things except for what was mentioned above.

It's funny how the BL on the L7 and L5 are the same yet the L5 is supposed to take less watts..

There is only minimal differences between the L5 and L7,ON PAPER that is. So who knows really. Only really noticable difference was the displacement and box needs.

All in all the L7 is kinda dinky, the motor is small, spider weak, and coil horrid. I know, I gutted mine. Although motor size isnt everything.

I have to admit i love Kicker's products. I've seen & heard the solo's as they have aged now going on its 3rd generation. IMO it seems Kicker is going for a more *attention* getting RICED OUT Solo that might appeal to the "Fast & Furious" crowd. i thought Audiobahn flaming subs already kept most of them occupied. it seems that kicker had to throw another hook out there to reel more buyers into their solo's. either way its too shiney, sharp, fancy and girly girl looking to have the same Respect it used to have. :thumbsdow

AS the matter of fact, I do. since the eD sub is much sleeker and tight looking.
