I dunno...for some reason, the Japanese Double DIN Panasonic with the tube drivers visible thru the front, with the analog VU meter looks **** nice to me. Really elegant looking.

I'll happily admit there are exceptions to every rule.

I do like that Panasonic pictured above and the one you linked to, supa, wasn't bad either (although the pic on their site was a bit small to really see any details clearly) but for the most part I'm just not a fan of Double-DINs in general.
