So i'm finally tired of gey alternator noise. Its the amp, Not tied into the headunit. If i unhook rcas, i still get alternator noise. Wtf could it be. I'm about to unhook it from the distro and try to just run the 4g into my 4 chan amp and see if its just a cheap block. I'm pretty sure of my ground too as it is grounded to the floor of the trunk. But then again. Before i pulled the system out when i thought i was selling my car, i never had alt noise. And my headunit always says failure when i turn it on.. I have no clue whats up with it. I unhooked all the harness wires as if i was running the speakers off the headunit. But since they are ran by my 4channel I only have the power, ground, and ignition wire hooked up. So i thought, he maybe im getting the failure message because the speakers are unhooked. So i hook them up, reset the headunit and still, FAILURE. Naturally. So I unhooked everything but power/ground/ignition wire and reset it again. And still, apperently I'm a failure. I wonder what could be up with it. The unit still preforms perfect and it hasn't changed other than it sais failure everytime i start it up.
As for the alt noise i'm stumped. Tommorow i may unhook the ground and rescrape the paint, idk if i got it all the first time. But idk if that could be the problem. It used to be grounded to a bolt in the top of the trunk but i lost the nut that fit and can't find one to replace it, so i can't try that again.
Somebody help meh troubleshoot. Thanks
