UFC countdown on MTV2???

so I'm flipping through cable channels and spot UFC 89 countdown and select the channel from the guide. I automatically thought I was on Spike, but I looked again and was on MTV2 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif. Why is UFC countdown on MTV2 (not that its a bad thing, just confusing)? I didn't think spike and mtv were under the same ownership
