i dont think it was rust. i think he was paid. why the **** would he magicly come back to the ufc when he was set to fight his dream match (fedor) why. (money). honestly yes you do lose alot of the skill if you dont fight/train constantly but cmon so much mistakes he did it wasnrt even funny. you never drop your hand on a guy no matter how unexperienced he is,

MMA is the equivalent of the WWE...a guy that that is 2-1 (or whatev his record is)gets to fight for the title? That is a joke...UFC is terrible...Affliction is the only respectable fight card. BOXING FOR THE MOTHER****IN WIN.

Randy Couture wrestled at a world level, he is clearly a better wrestler then Brock Lesnar, the fact that he was wrestling with a 45lb advantage or what ever is what would have made that difference

Lesnar would have been a world class wrestler IF he decided to go that way after college. He won an NCAA title in 2000 and was runner up in 1999 (he was upset in the final). He only wrestled 2 years in D1

Lesnar did what it took to win, but all the conspiracy theory idiots will keep throwing out their 2 cents. They are both strong wrestlers, but one weighed about 50#'s more, and that's a HUGE advantage.

I do agree that the ref let Randy take more punishment then he should have.

I also think it was fixed.If you look colse a few moments before the end you can see Coture whispering something to Lesnar when they were in the clinch..

yes Randy wrestled at a world level in Greco Roman, he was not a national champion though. Randy uses clinch work and does not usually shoot for a shot, he uses trips and such. I agree the wrestling was so close that size made all the difference. And people who keep saying this fight was a fix gtfo, the guy one fair and square I thought he was gassing Brock out but got caught simple as that. When a guy that big hits you, you go down.
