Ufc 145

Hmmm, not sure wtf happened just then. Jones couldn't finish him, Evans moved to much for that. Dan Henderson is not a good matchup for Jones he will walk thru hedo, until he gets on the ground his length will continue to win him fights

i knew that title fight was gonna go that way it had a couple ups but the rest of the main cards were fantastic mark homonick vs eddie yagin was a fucking brawl and the rest were straight kos

Jones made Rashad his bltch. And it only went 5 rounds because Evans is a great fighter, and Jones respected his skills. Jon Jones is a beast! Also what a great card. I cannot believe Che Mills was destroyed like that but Rory is a bad mofo.

I wouldn't exactly go that far. If Even's never would have caught him with a a few of his punches then yes I would agree. However, after Jones got hit his game plan changed quickly. You can tell he didn't like the way those punches felt at all.

Where does Jones go form here? Who knows...there are a few fighters that come to mind, but until someone closes the gap similar to what Evans did when he landed a few hits, Jones will just keep winning. I honestly do not think Jones can take a beating really, if he gets into a position where he is hit several times I think he would lose the fight.

Jones has a weak jaw. Almost every time he got hit with a solid punch he staggered.

Quite possibly the most boring main event ever.
Not at ALL possible... Couture v Vera come to mind? This was a bit more strategic than the blood bath many were hoping for, but it certainly wasn't a snooze fest.

I read a bit of Jones' post-fight interview. He said he was hoping for a finish, and was disappointed he wasn't able to finish, but at the same time, he had to respect Rashad's power. He said Rashad did "big-brother" him a couple times in training, so he wasn't sure how that would affect him mentally during the fight either. It was a good open and honest interview, he discussed hopes to mend things with Rashad and what not, good read.

That said, Rory MacDonald and Che Mills? I can't wait to see the next fight for the both of them. Mills came out looking very strong and impressive, and despite MacDonald turning the tables and putting a whooping on him, I think there's a good future for him.

Michael McDonald? Goofy kid... but boy does he have a ton of talent ahead of him.

I enjoyed the card for the most part. I guess training in the sport makes me a little biased as I still tend to find the "boring" bits entertaining.

What are you smoking? The main event was the most boring fight of UFC145 and Id go even as far to say atleast the last 25 events.

I don't smoke, so, nothing. I enjoyed the fight though. It certainly wasn't the BEST fight, I don't think it was awful though, I guess I'm just hard to disappoint though. I heard the Mac Danzig fight on the prelims of the card was actually quite awful though. Fortunately though, that was on the prelims, and not the main event.
