don't know why they wouldn't i guess. After seeing this post i had to google them and see one for myself. They are crazy looking. Not so sure how they claim to produce all the output of 2 10's or 12's with zero vibration but if it somehow works it would be an awesome space saver bass solution.

after searching further it appears alpine has a version of this driver. It still does need a decent enclosure behind it to get good output though. When i first saw it I thought it was a stand alone unit.

I was thinking it was a stand-alone unit also. That would be nice if it could perform without an enclosure. I may pick one up to see what they sound like free-air. I am looking to put something in my 6x9 location. I may go with the Tang Band 6.5, I have their version of the 6x9. Too much involved to get them in the Intrepid.
