Two sa-8 v2's or one xcon 10?

both would be in the optimum enclosure and would be powered off 1000 watts for now but that would be upgraded later on. can't decide which would be better as i'm going for a daily driver so i want it to get loud and low and still sound good doing it

The 2 8s will be much louder, but both could use more power. I really wanna run an XCON 10 too, but would take 2 SA8s V2 as well! Lol.

The 2 8s will be in a box that is close to the same size as the 10 too.

aight thats the answer i'm looking for with the louderness. what about lower though? i could get an xcon for extremely cheap though so i might go that way but if not i'd probably go the sa 8's if they can get lower

Of 1000w I would say the sa's will be louder because of their power handling. The Xcon I would definitely say can take more abuse and will handle 2k if you give it clean power. With that being said, I would go with the Xcon. And cone area doesn't really apply here...we are talking about 2 very different woofers.

Going from an sa-12 to a pair of sa-8's you won't really notice much difference at all..with that being said go with the 10 lol

I would think the sq would be better and be able to handle more power.

what about loud/low? the only other ten i've had was an RE SE x in like a 1 cubic foot box and it was like nothing compared to my sa-12 now

The xcon will get loud and low. A lot will depend on your enclosure.
