Awhile back, I bought four Exodus Audio Tempest-X gen1 subwoofers. I'd planned on all four in 12 cu.ft each vented enclosures tuned to 16hz. But after I built two, I realized that was actually more than enough!

So I have two that are barely used (tested for a couple weeks) that have been sitting in the OEM shipping boxes for awhile now. I've decided to let them go so I can beef up other areas of my audio system.

The gen2 Tempest-X sells for $261 each PLUS shipping. And you'll notice the gen2 have a higher FS than my gen1. ~18hz vs. ~19hz. The new gen2 also is rated at 1mm less XMAX than my 27mm gen1.

***I'm asking $200/each INCLUDING shipping to the 49 states via FedEx. I can also help with box design if you need it.

Sorry, yes these are mostly for home theater/audio. They're designed for super low, clean bass and extreme output capability. Playing continuous 16hz notes in my 3500 cu.ft. living room provides huge rolling waves of bass that shake everything. Even my heavy duty front door rattles in its frame.

I designed a pair of 12 cu.ft. enclosures, then ended up building a single 24 cu.ft. enclosure with a single 8" flared port. Don't have any finish pics, but here is the build process:

I don't really want to talk myself out of a sale, but that would be a lateral move. The Brahma is a killer sub and the Tempest-X is only slightly better.

These do look really nice, i like my brahma even though its not in a proper box yet. I'll pick this up if i can sell my sub thats sitting around. is this Dual8ohm? I need 1 ohm to get power from my amp

It's dual 4-ohm. So the only way to present your amp with a 1 ohm load would be to use two of these.
