Message: <blockquote data-quote="crownvicdriver" data-source="post: 4015218" data-attributes="member: 585446"><p>We had the amp turned up just a little past halfway.  I guess it was at 60% of full gain.  One went out and then we played one speaker at 1700 RMS at 2-ohms since the box is divided and the 2nd speaker went out also.  And we did not have it playing full volume for solid 20 mins.  The 2nd one went out as soon as we turned it on by itself.  He has a alpine CDA-9886 deck and the bass on the deck was set at 0.</p></blockquote><p></p>
