two 12" what do i want

i already have a pioneer amp and infinity 1230 but want to step it up to two 12s should i get anouthre infinity or is there any way to get two new subs but still use my amp if so will i even get more out of 2 12s from the same amp

It depends what voice coil configuration the subs are. Dual 4 ohm subs will be getting 190 each at 2 ohms. Single 4 ohm will be getting 125 each.

I would probably invest in another amp if you are planning on upgrading anything. Gives you room to improve later too.
