two 10's

Hey

for a friend considering getting two 10's, i said he should get some sound auidio's at 2ohm each so he can wire them down to 1ohm into one output so 1 amp, i was thinking soundstream d1600 and put it at 1000 watts rms?

good? i'm not professional but i know much more than him... he was inspired by my set up haha

Whats his budget? If they're Dual 2 ohm subs than they can be wired to .5ohm or 2 ohm, not 1.

hhmmmm well what would i have to do to get to 1ohm with 2 subs? i thought that 2ohm to 2ohm wired parallel would go down to 1ohm?

A dual 4 wires to 2 ohms. So a pair of them would be 1 ohm. Or dual 1's.

2 dvc 2 ohm subs can be wired to .5 or 2 ohm like non nom said, 2 dvc 4 ohm subs can be wired to 1 ohm or 4, its diff with svc
