Two 10" W1's Or One 10" FI SSD

The way I view it is that I'll save more money if I sell the W1 and go purchase a FI SSD for $180.00 off FIaudio.com. But my friend says that 10's aren't shit unless you got 2 of them. So which should I get?

No offense but your buddy isn't the brightest of people with that comment.

I would take a 10" SSD over the W1's everyday of the week. The SSD is a very nice sub, loved mine when I had it.

Yes yes it will. You are comparing a pair of 150 watt rms subs compared to a single 800+ sub.

If both were in a sealed box, or you only wanted to run a small amount of power, the JLs would actually have the advantage. If you're planning on a ported box and have some power to play with, the SSD has the potential to be louder. It might not be but it has the potential.

x2 i have one in my car as a temp set up and let me tel you im very happy with it. btw i can care less for SQ (sometimes) but i love my ssd 10. your friend fails
