The Pentastar is putting out 305 Hp not bad at all for a v6. It is only 67 Hp less than that huge hemi. The torque difference is big though.

The v6 is naturally aspirated and also doesn't even have direct injection. If he upgraded that 6 he could easily put out more than you. Plus you probably bored out your engine.
