Simple solution....buy the amp first. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
you know me , i'm a broke *** ****. it will take all i can do to hustle up the dough for subs , let alone a amp that cost 3 times more than the subs.

plus i still gotta buy comps too.

as of right now i own no speakers except the 15 and that thing aint going in the truck. LOL

Lightbulb!!! If i get the dcon's (2 single 4 ohms) and eventually upgrade to the leviathan , i can trade my brother for his dcons.his are the d4 models (which would give me 4 ohms total) , his setup wont matter if its 2 or 4 ohms cuz he got a 500/1 and it does the same powa from 1.5 to 4 ohms. Sweet!!
I'm not seeing the problem. The Leviathan will do 150 x2 + 600 x2 @ 4 ohms. Just buy the proper subs to begin with. If you want to run four subs, buy 4 ohm dvc models. If you want to run 2 subs, buy 4 ohm svc or 2 ohm dvc models.

Problem solved. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That's understandable.

If you're sold on the Leviathan, start saving for it. Buy it first and then move on to the next thing on the list. Owning that particular amp will give you a ton of options...

idk. its a long time away. maybe i will get subs that hold 600+ now and just under power them till i get the zed.

then run 600 per sub and 300x2@2 ohms on the comps.

actually that sounds like a winner.

what i want to do is run 2 10's off 600 and 4 comps off the remaining 150x4@4ohms
Can't say that I'd do the same.

I'd look into one pair of relatively high end comps and a pair of 10" or 12" subs.

Basically, 2 channels for comps and 2 pairs of bridged channels for subs.

Yeah. i was thinking the same after i posted that. you think IDQ 10's will hold up on 600 each? they are rated at 500.

i was looking at them and some ID comps. not sure about what series though.

also been checking out dayton subs. The HO and titanic models.
