all i would really need to do it get a jigsaw or somethin and cut it out and run the wires correct?

as long as you have the mounting depth beneath the panel to do it, yup, thats it.

Use a dremel or something you can control easier... maybe a hole saw.

Get a hole cutter adapter for a drill, doesn't cost much at all and will do a much better job. A jigsaw would do a shitty job.
