budget and what size
I'm willing to work with a larger tweeter. I have the tw-25's in the stock location(modified sails). I'll cover the sails up in fabric and mount elsewhere, or in pods if they're bigger than the ones I have... And I imagine the new ones will be if I'm considering parts express morels and hd-2's, lol. Budget, let's see what 100 will do, although I would prefer to spend less. Used is fine.

How much more?

EDIT: Looked em up, they are a bit much for what I'm looking for. For now I'm going to entertain offers for a little bit, and look. I'll come to you with my final choices, and we can see whats going on then. I would like to stay with Cdt. I've been considering the upstage system. Does that use four tweeters ,ran off of two channels and a crossover? It would disperse the power a bit, and help put the sound up on my dash if it works the way I think it does.

Yes I does it could brighten up your frt stage too
can i pick and choose cdt tweeters, using the housing and crossovers? Or is it a package? Also, are the crossovers available seperately, if i chose to fab my own housing?

Yes you can pick and choose. The xovers are sold separate but as a set its cheaper. You can just get a xover set that has the upstage option on them as well might be a better way to go
I could use the crossovers with the upstage option, and only use it for the four tweeters? Would it affect the crossover points with there being no mid on it? I would prefer to leave my mids ran straight off of the amp.

I just looked up some info, it looks like the upstage tweeter is simply toned tone a bit, instead of having a different xover point. Which is still cool, just not sure if its what i want to do. The only drawback it that it'll get pricy. I'll need two sets of tweeters, and the crossovers... I may have to stick to the og plan for now, and then pick up the xovers later. I do want to try that out.

if you use the xovers that have the reg tweeter and upstage tweeter option ,you can use it with out the mid, doesnt change the xover points at all.like i said might be you best option ,then its only 1 xover per side

i was confused. thinking of the centerstage, not upstage, system.

Wow. just lost a woofer.... Maybe I shouldn't have turned these gains up, lol.

Well, looking for 6.5's, now, as well. The tweeters and mids were all getting replaced anyway. I knew they couldn't handle the power. But why, why, why does the timing have too **** so bad.
