are they the Cal25 tweeters? Silk, titanium if aluminum? Also, what the outside diameter of those woofers (the overall diameter of the mounting ring, not the basket diameter). Thanks!

Thanks, Nismos14 ... I'm still keeping an eye out for a set of silk Cal25s to tri in my flush mounts (where my Cal25 Titans are residing right now). Someday I'll come across a good deal and jump on them...

Are the titaniums too harsh for you? You will probably loose a little bit of detail going from the titanium to the silk, and not gain too much in warmth. Both tweeters are very good at reproducing highs without hurting your ears, the titaniums may just be a tad better detailed and MAYBE slightly more "in your face".

No, they aren't too harsh ... in fact, I haven't really listened to them enough to make that judgement yet. I'm just keeping my eyes open for a silk set at a good price, just for comparison. Since I flush mounted them, I have to stick with the Cal25s ... no hurry on this, you just never know when you might run across a set that someone's looking to dump off!
