Rane being the ultimate and it comes down to preference between the vestax and an ecler HAK series. vestax is the most common of mixers but Ecler makes some sweet mixers and the Ecler HAK 360 is the standard for DMC final competitions. if youre going to do some heavy scratching you cant go wrong with a pair of Shure m44-7 cartridges/needles. some ortofons or stanton trackmasters are ok for mixing. also, if you wanna budget turntable the numark TTX series are suppose to be good for the price. hope this helps some.</p></blockquote><p></p>
