Tuning for two 12" Type R's

Ok so I have two 12" type R's and i have them in a box at about 4 cubes tuned to 37Hz and the subs are inverted. Right now Im in the process of building a new box, 4.3 cubes tuned to 32Hz but the subs are going to be put into the box. Im trying to achieve deep low bass, will this help me get there? And will there be a big difference with the subs facing the rear of my trunk since they were inverted originally? FYI Its in the trunk of a honda civic coupe.

Yes there will be a difference if it's not blockin' the hole inbetween the trunk and the cabin.

... If not, try facing them toward the cabin ( port on the front baffle ).

I've heard that itll sound like crap if i have the port facing forward, is that sometimes not the case?

It shouldn't change the sound much. More than likely the only thing that will be affected is output, if it is even noticeable.
