jntar, yeah if your serious about the bike, Ironhorse is solid. I don't like the stock shocks that are on, and the shimano parts could be upgraded. also the easton parts are meh. for the money its a good bike.

I cant find anything better for $1500. My other main reason for this bike, the shop that I would purchase from gives lifetime warranty on everything...even a broken chain...so it seems worth it.

only thing is the frame looks too weak imho.

look at specialized fsr xc, i payed 1600 for mine but you could find them for like 1400 now.

it is a solid bike, only thing i would upgrade are the discs for the brakes.

everything else is nice.
