Trupan vs. MDF

Not by me.
MDF - around $30 sheet

11ply BB - around $45 per sheet

Trupan - $60+ a sheet a few years ago when I last bought some

Well I want to use this for a show truck so It's gonna be in there for a while... I think it's worth the splurge. Now if it was a $hit car or I was constantly updating my system or something, obviously I probably wouldnt be using expensive materials all the time

i like my mdf....

that reminded me of an old commercial... not sure what it was for but there where like three cavemen or some shit standing around wearing dried out thorny bushes over their junk region. Then one dude was like "I have invented pants" and then they show the two dudes wearing jeans and the other is like "I fear change and I will keep my bush"...

i like my mdf....

guessing you've never used Trupan or BB.........cuz MDF sucks balls compared to them

turpan is way better. easier to cut no pre drilling and lighter also stronger

Trupan is NOT stronger than MDF

At least according to the info i have found. Trupan is weaker in terms of both its modulus of rupture as well as elasticity.

having messed with both I hate trupan for the fact being it is obviously weaker.

Sierra Pine makes and excellent HDF.
