Trupan vs. MDF

Any ideas on Trupan? Is it worth the extra cost? Where can it be purchased?

turpan is way better. easier to cut no pre drilling and lighter also stronger

trupan is just ultralite MDF...they sell it at most real lumber places, like ganahl lumber. its usually like 5-10 more expensive

there is a slight difference ive held the 2 side by side and its a little different in color and maybe other things i never really looked that far in to it.

MDF - around $30 sheet

11ply BB - around $45 per sheet

Trupan - $60+ a sheet a few years ago when I last bought some
