Is hip hop returning to its essence and getting back to good music. I have been unpatiently waiting for hip hop to be ressurected from its untimely death and i belive its gradually returning with the realease of kanye's newest album graduation, pharoe monch's desire, and talib kweli's ear drum are 3 of the best albums i have listened to in a while but is it enough to over come this main stream shit they spew out of the radio ? your thoughts

didn't buy kanyes' (heard most and didn't like it) but will agree that kwelis' new cd is very good. probably the best cd this year. but imo all his cds' are nice, he's the best out imo and has been for awhile. also liked redmans new one, very slept on imo. don't know why though. also liked keith murrays, couldv'e been better but still alot better than others that have been put out this year. also think cassidys' new cd will have to be picked up to, should be good.

havent herd red mans new one yet. But how can you not like graduation

just never really liked him. some songs are alright, but then the rest he just sounds annoying. plus with all his little crying fits and throwing the race card around every chance he gets i just can't see myself buying anything of his.
